This exotic natural processed coffee comes from A Lel Chaung Village in the Shan State. There are 160 households in the A Lel Chaung Village Specialty Coffee Project, which is participating in a USAID program which provides families with access to coffee education resources and technologies including drying tables and moisture meters. As part of this program, families are now receiving higher prices for their harvest and proceeds are earmarked for use to improve village healthcare, community infrastructure, and education. We really enjoy this one--it has a depth and juiciness that sets it apart from other Southeast Asian coffees.
$3 from EVERY bag goes to the UN Refugee Agency.
